The Digivice is a device from the Digimon series based on the first Digimon product, the Digimon virtual pet, and it indicates that the possessor is a DigiDestined. It appears in every season of the anime, as well as the V-Tamer 01, D-Cyber, and Next manga, and several of the video games. Its primary use is to empower the DigiDestined's partner Digimon through Digivolution, though each version of the Digivice is also equipped with many other helpful features, such as radar or data storage. Even when Digivice's are the same type, they are usually differentiated by a color scheme unique to the character who uses them.
The D-Processor is the Digivice on this site and has a combination of uses from original Digivices from Digimon Adventure and the D-3 from Digimon Adventure 02, with one use from the D-Arc from the third series. The D-Processor has the shape and appearance of a sony ericson, but with less buttons.
They serve to channel the emotional energy of the DigiDestined, allowing their Digimon partners to Digivolve as far as the Champion level; when used in unison with the energies of a Pendant, the Digivices permit further Digivolution to the Ultimate and in some cases, with help the child's Special Item, Mega.
In addition to permitting Digivolution, the D-Processors have some other abilities. They can project beams of light that have debilitating effects on weak-level evil Digimon and those under the control of the virus will have the viral code forced from their body, while those who are simply unpleasant in nature will be turned to goodness. These beams can restrain Digimon, and can even combined to create a force-field that contain a massive explosion. On a more simple level, they have built-in clocks, and are able to track the signal emitted by other Digivices.
A specific power that the D-Processors possess is their ability to open "Digi-Ports"— computer programs that serve as gateways to the Digital World. The D-Processor can analyze nearly every Digimon or person that a DigiDestined comes into contact with, making it appear like a Database.
We'll also be using the D-Terminal from 02, with some modified functions.
D-Terminals are ordinary palmtops. They are primarily used for communication between team members, allowing them to coordinate and call for help. A secondary purpose, however, allows the DigiDestined to have a mini-map of their surrounding area.
