History: Briandon was born on May 5, 1995 to two high school runaways. Neither of them believed they were mature enough to take care of a child, so they ran to New York City, where they left the child at a hospital. Brandon never knew his parents and has no desire to learn who they are. He spent the first ten years of his life being bounced from foster home to foster home. In the fourth grade things changed though.
Brandon was a bright student and had been chosen to take a special aptitude test. After several weeks waiting for his result he found out that the test was a scholarship opputunity for Lake Placid Prepatory Academy. Brandon was even more excited to find out that he had been accepted. Not only would he be going to a prestigious school, but he would live on campus all year. It was the answer to his prayers, and the fall he was off.
The school was a wonderful place to be, even if the classes could be hard sometimes. Brandon quickly made friends with his to roommates: Butch Ward, a fellow ward of the state who had been found living on the streets, and Mizu Koneko, a wealthy teenager whose father was a millionaire businessman and mother was a UN ambassador. For three years the boys were normal students, until the world change. When the first digimon siting began, the world was not aware. The world's governments did well to cover things up in the beginning, with several agencies being formed to kidnap and experiment on digimon. Mizu's father was a major player in the newly forming digital underground.
It didn't take long for the Lake Placid school to become an interesting place. One night the three roommates stayed up late, having a computer gaming night. All of a sudden each computer failed, and then began to glow. Out of each computer came a D-Processor, and shortly after came digieggs. Mokumon hatched from his egg, and shortly after digivolved to DemiMeramon. Once DemiMeramon became Candlemon Brandon began to train hard as a digidestined. The tro decided to calll themselves the Digital Avengers, and vowed to bring peace to both worlds. Eventually several other Lake Placid students became digidestined. They joined the Digital Avengers, and now they are planning a trip to the Digital World.
RP Sample: Waking up that morning was one of the easiest things Adonis had ever done, mostly because he had gotten very little sleep. The night had been filled with the cries of Hedylogos, and the cracking of a whip. They were in a dark place, but it wasn't the Underworld. They were, in a Mountain, somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains. When he woke up Adonis was sweating like crazy, but he was not hot in the least. The boy stared up at the top of his cabin, it felt so alone all of a sudden. Adonis had no clue why. There had never been anyone else in this cabin, except for Damion when he felt like being sneaky. So why did he feel so alone all of a sudden?
Adonis swung his legs over the side of the bed, and sat up straight. His cabin was a normal one, although rather small. The room was decorated with statues of his father and uncles, and on of them lead into a tiny fountain. That one was his own little telephone, perfect for sending Iris messages. Adonis looked over at the bag by the door. It was his enchanted one, that could grow wings on command. The backpack was filled with nectar and ambrosia, as well as rope, a medical kit, a cell phone, plenty of drachmas, a wallet with his ID and credit card, a compass, and an old picture of Adonis' mother
Sitting on the side of the backpack were Adonis' other essentials. His bow and quiver sat upright, looking as beautiful as ever. As he stared at them he couldn't help but think about how excellent a craftsman Hephaestus was, to have built them. His flute was tucked in the quiver, barely noticeable among the wooden arrows. It was thicker of course, and Adonis knew it was there. Clipping it to his belt was to much of a hassle now. Laying in front of his backpack was his celestial bronze knife. It was safely tucked into its red sheath, and Adonis was aware of how nonthreatening it looked.
Looking at the dagger made him feel weak, just like it. Kids here fought with flaming axes, and earth splitting hammers, all he had was a knife. It was nothing special. Sure his arrows were enchanted, but they didn't inflict abnormal pain, they created romantic feelings. Adonis decided not to think badly about them though. That bow, and those arrows were essential to the task at hand. Without him completing this quest would be impossible.
The boy stood up, and walked over to a mirror. It didn't take him long to situate his hair in a decent way. He couldn't go on a quest with a bed head. Adonis silently dressed himself. He walked over to one of his trunks, and pulled out a pair of light blue Ralph Lauren jeans. They were soft to the touch, and they felt good on his skin as he pulled them onto his legs. Then he took of his white v-neck shirt, and threw it onto his bed. His chest felt cold even in the cabin, and he hurried to find a t-shirt. He settled for a beater, and after putting that on pulled out two Ralph Lauren polos.
One shirt was blue, and the other was pink. No one but him could understand what the choice really meant. The pink one was what he wore when he wanted to impress girls, and they always liked it. The blue one he had never worn before. It seamed like a shirt for more serious things, and that was the one he slid over his head and onto his body. Every part of Adonis wanted t put on solid blue Ralph Lauren shoes, it matched obviously, but he wouldn't. Those shoes were for style, and not running and fighting. He pulled out a pair of white air force ones, and slid them on his feet. They were his only pair of gym shoes, but they were clean.
Adonis walked over to the mirror again, and looked at himself. He looked rather good, of course a face wash and some tooth brushing would complete that. Adonis walked back to his clothes and pulled out a leather vest. It was the type of thing warriors wore when armor was to much, and he decided to stuff it into his backpack. He put the backpack on his back, and marveled in how light it actually felt. He put on his belt, strapping his dagger in on his right hip. His bow was tucked into his quiver, and her strapped that on under his backpack. Adonis glanced around his cabin for anything that he might have missed, but he had everything he needed.
After a refreshing stop at the bathroom Adonis was off. the early morning air was crisp, and the sun hadn't even come up yet. Dew had settled on the green camp grass, and fog had settled on the lake and river. Adonis was sure that the beach looked amazing, but now was not the time to see it. He made his way to the stables, knowing that no one would be their yet. In about half an hour his quest mates should be showing up, and Adonis hoped that they were all packed and ready.
When he reached the stables the first pegasus he approached was Thunder. He had met Thunder just yesterday, and seeing him again was thrilling. The pegasi was the only one awake, and he neighed a little when he saw Adonis. Adonis quietly opened the door to the stable up, and moved in to pet Thunder. The boy rubbed the horse's head, right on the white diamond shaped spot. Adonis reached for Thunder's saddle, and quietly put it on the pegasus. He didn't speak, it wasn't the time for words. He lead the pegasus, built for war, into the main stable, and timed him up so he wouldn't get away.
Adonis moved, and did the same with Omega and Cupid, Theo and Dewy's pegasi. He had to wake them up first, but the magical creatures did not resist. Adonis started to look around for more pegasi to choose, and his mid was fuzzy. He wasn't the best with the animals, but decided to pick them by who would be best. He thought of Dell first, and walked silently over to a golden mare. She had heard the noise made by the other horses, and was hanging her head to see what was happening so early in the morning. Adonis saddled her up, and lead her to the other pegasi. The four beasts began to make all sorts of noises, and Adonis could only guess that they were having a conversation. Maybe Thunder, Cupid, and Omega were telling Star, the golden mare, about the quest.
Adonis looked at his watch, and saw that he had ten minutes until the other's arrived. He thought hard about Maribelle, and wondered which pegasus would be best for her. A mare of course, but which one. He spotted one, it was jet black, and had a body for speed. She was curled up in the corner sleep, and Adonis felt bad about waking her. As he did she resisted somewhat, as if he were scum. That meant she truly was for for Maribelle, and her name was Atal. Stephen ended up with a brown pegasi named Lightning, apparently he was Thunder's twin. The last pegasus was for Connor. A beautiful white mare named Snow, and once she was sattled up Adonis walked over to the seven pegasi.
The horse like creatures were having a full on conversation, and they were not quiet about it. Their fellow pegasi began to wake up, and none were happy with the loud seven that were in the middle. Adonis watched as Thunder nudged at Atal lovingly, and the mare moved fiercely away. He guessed that Thunder was meant for him, couldn't resist a beautiful lady. Of course that made Adonis chuckle. He could only imagine what sort of line Thunder had just been using, but in reality it didn't matter. Only the quest mattered.
